The University of Central Florida will host the 11th Behavioral Pricing Conference on Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Orlando, Florida.
This annual conference, first held at Fordham University in 1998, invites research papers related to pricing and price promotions from both academic and managerial perspectives.
Submissions:
Below are some examples of potential topics of interest.
Other related areas of research in pricing are also welcomed:

  • Price sensitivity, price points, and price information processing
  • Strategies for price negotiation
  • Cost allocation in pricing
  • Revenue management
  • Price competition
  • Fairness and social responsibility in pricing
  • Auction pricing and new models of pricing for the Internet
  • Cross-cultural aspects of
  • Pricing in non-profit organizations

Public policy issues in pricingSubmitted papers should be 15-20 pages in length. At the request of the authors, submitted papers can be also considered for publication in the Journal of Product and Brand Management. Authors interested in journal consideration must state this desire upon manuscript submission.

The conference is sponsored by the Dick Pope Sr. Institute for Tourism Studies and will be held at the elegant new conference center of the Rosen College of Hospitality Management of the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.The fall is a great time of year to visit Orlando.
